The origin of this recipe came from an article i had read in a magazine. Adding mayonnaise to chicken and throwing in in the oven, I know sounds a bit off putting to most including myself. I just had to try it and finally one night i had a package of chicken breast and no idea what to make so i went for the mayo and just added other ingredients and my Fiance went over the moon for this chicken!. Heart of Dixie just seem fitting because of mayonnaise is the south's favorite condiment---Enjoy :)

Heart of Dixie Chicken Bake Preheat oven to 375 Degrees Package of Chicken Breast 1/2 Cup of Mayonnaise 1 whole Shallot (finely chopped) 1 1/2 Tbsp Lawry's Seasoned salt 1 tsp Garlic powder Pinch of Black Pepper 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Pinch of Salt 1/4 cup Italian Style Bread Crumbs 2 Tbsp Chives Wash and drain Chicken breast.
Wrap individual breast in plastic wrap and using a meat tenderizer flatten out to 1/2 inch thick.
In a bowl mix Mayonnaise, Shallot, Seasoned salt, Garlic Powder, Black Pepper, and Parmesan Cheese.
Place aluminum foil in oven pan, and place chicken breast on top and LIGHTLY season both sides with salt and pepper. put mayonnaise mixture all over chicken breast thickly.
After Mixture is put on top with bread crumbs and bake until top is golden brown
Top with chives an serve!
